Grand opening – Restaurante Satyricón
The opening evening of this exciting and unusual restaurant in the centre of the Old Town of Alcudia was extremely well attended. People flooded in to admire the amazing transformation of what was once the original cinema into a Roman Theatre style dining experience. The main ground floor area opens skyward to two further balconied floors and a stunning copy of an original fresco painted ceiling. The opulent atmosphere is further enhanced with a mosaic floor, sculptures and Roman columns. With a creative menu of high quality fusion dishes and excellent service, this promises to be a perfect venue for a special occasion or a memorable meal.

40 of the best restaurants in Palma will be showcasing some of the fantastic and diverse cuisine available in the city at this 4th International Tapas Fair. Why not take the opportunity to sample some of the enormous range of Tapas the city has to offer, while at the same time, discovering more about the individual restaurants.
The city will be split into four areas - Santa Catalina, Centre, Plaza de España, La Lonja. There are also three restaurants in Other locations. The restaurants in each area will devote at least half their restaurant space for TaPalma customers and will offer a few tapas choices for you to try before you stroll on to the next one to try a few more. The price of each tapa will be around 2 euros and if you feel like filling in the judging card on your way round, you could win one of the great prizes up for grabs. These include the age or weight of the winner in bottles of wine courtesy of José Luis Ferrer and two tickets to see Barbara Hendricks at the Palma Auditorium on 31 Oct (The Jazz Voyeur Festival) courtesy of Mallorca Restaurants 121.com.
Special small size drinks will also be available to help with the dynamics of moving from one restaurant to another along with 20-25 bicycles being provided by Fundació Balears Sostenible in two marquees (one in Plaza España & one in Av. Antoni Maura (Plaza de la Reina).

This year sees the 4th edition of Ta Palma (organised by Associació Empresarial de Restauració de Mallorca) and Mallorca Restaurants 121 is proud to be a collaborator in this exciting event.
From the 8th to the 12th October approx 40 of the best restaurants in Palma will be showcasing some of the fantastic and diverse cuisine available in the city. You will be able to sample an enormous range of Tapas, which will not only allow you to discover individual restaurants, but also the opportunity to try some of the varied types and styles of food available in Mallorca´s beautiful capital city.
The city will be split into 4 distinct areas where you can stroll from one restaurant to another, trying out their distinctive cuisines at minimal cost. The price of each tapa will be around 2 euros, with each restaurant offering a few choices for you to try before strolling on to see what delicacies the next venue has to offer.
This is an event for everybody, not just the Palmesanos, but for all the island’s residents and visitors to come on in, taste and enjoy some wonderful dishes. Plus, you could win some fantastic prizes, including a special one from Mallorca Restaurants 121, by judging the different dishes.
